About Me As A Songwriter

​ I go by the name of  Tea. I am a Chicago-based songwriter with nearly 30 years of experience creating music. Songwriting has always been one of my greatest passions, and my love for music goes beyond simply listening—I love the process of bringing ideas, emotions, and stories to life through song.

My writing spans multiple genres, including R&B, pop, Christian, and more, with a particular specialty in R&B. I believe a great song has the power to connect with people, shift emotions, create memories, and tell stories that listeners can see themselves in.
